Are you an aspiring water justice activist? The Oregon Water Justice Alliance and Water Climate Trust are currently offering stipends and mentorship for California and Oregon BIPOC, youth, and others from water justice communities to research water allocation issues, outreach to allies, and conduct advocacy to influence decision-makers.
If you or someone you know has been wanting to get more involved but lack the resources to do so, you can apply for our Water Justice Stipend and Mentoring Program. Program participants are paid an hourly rate of $20-25 (5-20 hours/week up to 100 hours) and will receive mentoring support from our team of policy experts, and water and Indigenous rights advocates.
You can access the application form directly here or message us at [email protected] to learn more about this opportunity to work for more sustainable and just water allocation policies and practices.
If you already have experience in Tribal or environmental water allocation policy or organizing, we are also looking for a part-time water justice organizer to engage river-dependent communities in improving the water policies and practices that impact their lives and environment.
